Sandbanks

Sun, sea and sand. I couldn't have asked for a better location to 'drift' into. Deciding this location for my project was rather easy. I wanted somewhere in Bournemouth/Poole that wasn't 'town-ey' and someone suggest "SANDBANKS!"

Today the weather was extremely lovely; clear blue skies with a little breeze. The 200 or so pictures i took came out rather well (if i must say so myself :) ) and the only thing that i wished could change was the total journey time, but in the end it was worth it.

Being in an unfamiliar place really forced me to start observing my surroundings more and trying to remember certain places and landmarks so that if i were to get lost i'd know where the nearest bus stop would be. I paid attention to road signs, directions to the beach and even certain houses and/or shops that i found aesthetically pleasing, these acted as my breadcrumbs leading the way back home.

Obviously i wouldn't leave without collecting some memoirs and those came in the form of different shaped and colourful shells :) Oh i also put some of the sand into a plastic bag which i conveniently had in my bag :)
