Beginnings

Uni has started, well technically it started on the 29th; it is now the 5th October. So far it's been fairly nicely paced. Information isn't just thrown in our faces, handouts aren't just given to us without being explained. So far so good.

On Tuesday (30th) we had a field trip to Poole Quay to record, sketch and photograph the general scenary. I'll admit that my strength doesn't lie in drawing or sketching, it's photography but i'll keep trying to get over my fear of drawing so that hopefully they won't be pitiful excuses of badly half done sketchings.

The weather was godawful though. It was windy, cloudy and absolutely freezing. Needless to say it dampened the vibe and mood a bit as everybody just wanted to sit in the warm pubs with a cup of tea. I took a fair amount of photographs which i'll try and manipulate at one point in time. I think i tend to find it easier to document things in the form of pictures rather than in a sketchbook.
